The problem we kept seeing
Modernising to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central costs the average small, mid-market, and small enterprise customer between £50,000 and £750,000 and usually takes 6 to 24 months. On top of this, consultants charge for every hour with minimal governance, often causing internal disruption with slipped timelines.
The cost, the time and the disruption mean over 100,000 UK businesses are still running legacy systems like Sage, old Dynamics NAV and GP – this has to change.
Why now
AI changed what is possible in delivery work. Documentation, data mapping, process design, test scripts. The parts of an implementation that consume most of the timeline and most of the budget are now automatable. Not in theory. In production.
But the AI does not replace the consultant. It replaces the paperwork. Decisions, judgement, change management. Those still need senior humans. So we built a delivery model that puts the AI where it works, and the seniors where they matter.
The Tramlines partnership
Hybrid AI is backed by Tramlines, who saw the opportunity early. Tramlines is the operational backbone: capital, investor network, shared services, and a portfolio of ventures we share notes with. We are independent operationally, but we are not alone.
