We are building a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation partner where pre-sales is a defined function. Tailored demos, rigorous scoping, and proposals that delivery teams can work from, owned by someone whose job it is to get that right, not fitted in between projects.

The Role

Title: Pre-Sales Consultant
Type: Permanent employee
Location: UK-based with client-facing travel
Start: Immediate
Growth path: Senior Pre Sales / Solution Lead as Hybrid AI scales. Alternatively, Pre-Sales Manager as Hybrid AI scales through EMEA.

What You'll Do

You are the bridge between what the prospect needs and what we deliver. In practice that means:

  • Running tailored BC demonstrations for prospects, not generic walkthrough demos, but scenarios built around the prospect's actual business processes and pain points.
  • Producing the technical and functional sections of proposals, working with the Architect on integration design and with the Sales Specialist on commercial framing.
  • Maintaining and developing demo environments that reflect current BC capabilities, ISV add-ins, and AI tooling, not a stale default Cronus database.
  • Building RFP and RFI responses with substance: answering what is asked, flagging what is missing, and making the technical case clearly.
  • Feeding delivery intelligence back to sales: which requirements are straightforward, which will drive cost, and where the risks sit.

What We Need

  • 7+ years BC or NAV experience, with at least 2 years in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or senior functional role.
  • Ability to deliver compelling, tailored BC demonstrations across all BC modules, not just screen sharing and clicking.
  • Strong scoping skills: you can take a discovery conversation and produce a requirements document that a delivery team would recognise as realistic.
  • Awareness of BC integration and implementation patterns and knows how to translate that back to the delivery and technical teams.
  • Data migration awareness: you know what questions to ask about legacy data and can flag complexity to the broader team.
  • MB-800 certified (or equivalent depth of knowledge).
  • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate proposal writing, demo preparation, and requirements scoping.

  • Demo environments are invested in. You will have the tools and budget to maintain environments that impress.
  • Growth path. As the partner scales, this role evolves into a Senior Pre Sales or Solution Lead position with broader strategic scope or Pre-Sales Manager across EMEA.

Also Valued

  • AL development understanding, enough to assess build-vs-buy decisions and scope extension work realistically.
  • Experience with BC Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Service Management modules.
  • Familiarity with ISV products.
  • Experience demonstrating or scoping AI and Copilot capabilities alongside BC.
  • RFP/RFI response experience in competitive, multi-vendor selection processes.
